In June, 2014, I was asked to teach a Scottish country dance workshop in Tallinn, Estonia, and we had a chance to visit this very pleasant small Baltic country.

Eike (the workshop organiser) and her family very kindly took us on a trip to the far south-east of Estonia where we spent a night in a cabin on a lake (complete with a sauna and an outhouse across the yard). On the way we had some amazing strawberries, and we also visited some sights in Tallinn. The workshop itself wasn't particularly well-attended because many of the Scottish dancers were involved with the big Estonian song festival the weekend after, but the people who did come visibly enjoyed themselves.
