These pictures were taken on one of many trips to Scotland that I undertook as a member (and later convenor) of the RSCDS Membership Services committee. Since travelling to Edinburgh for just a weekend is a lot of hassle I usually tried to combine these trips with brief jaunts around the countryside.
On this excursion I spent a couple of nights in a nice hotel in Killin and took a drive through Glen Lyon, Fortingall, and to the Scottish Crannog Centre on Loch Tay. On my way back to Edinburgh I visited Bannockburn and the Falkirk Wheel, and I also took several walks around Edinburgh. All of this took place in early to mid-April but do note the very un-Scottish weather.
